* An additional assignment was given when two attempts to launch a satellite
for Gemini 6 to dock with, failed. Astronauts Walter M. Schirra Jr. and
Thomas P. Stafford, flew Gemini 6 within 1 foot of Gemini 7.
The two capsules practiced station-keeping for 5 hours at distances from 1 to
295 feet.
Gemini 6 was launched on December 15 and Splashdowned on December 16.
On the audio clip (Borman.wav) you'll hear that Frank Borman sighted the
"bogie" only 4 hrs and 24 minutes after lift-off.
